Nike has recently launched a new online store—Nike Refurbished—where customers can buy pre-owned sneakers that are still in great condition and are priced lower.
For those in the sneaker community, you know that buying pre-owned sneakers is a norm.
Nike has been running its “Refurbished” program in select physical stores for the past two years. To explain how it works, all Nike shoes in Nike Refurbished undergo meticulous hand processing and quality inspections, falling into one of three conditions:
- Like New: Perfect or near-perfect condition. They are like new with no sign of wear or flaws.
- Slightly Imperfect: No signs of wear but slightly imperfect aesthetically (for example: stain, mark, discoloration, or fading). Otherwise like new.
- Gently Worn: They are in great condition with visible light wear or slight imperfections.
These conditions determine the discount you’ll get on the sneakers.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the refurbished store only ships to addresses within the United States, and all sales are considered final.
