The narrative kicks off with the crew believing they’ve successfully abandoned their criminal pasts, scattering to lead new lives. However, the ghosts of their deeds return in the form of a ruthless assassin who systematically targets each member.

At the helm of this star-studded cast is Nathan Stewart-Jarrett as Joe (Muscle), Gemma Arterton as criminal mastermind Dianne Harewood, and Niamh Algar as the enigmatic assassin Specialist. The series also features The Good Place’s Kirby, Tara Abboud, Kamel El Basha, and Uriel Emil Pollack, weaving a complex narrative that traverses time, exploring the dynamics of a heist gone awry.

Gemma Arterton’s portrayal of Dianne Harewood adds a layer of untouchable glamour to the narrative, showcasing her prowess as a criminal mastermind assembling a crew for an epic heist. As the plot navigates through time, from ‘before’ to ‘then’ to ‘now,’ the characters confront the consequences of their actions, leading to a tense and chilling atmosphere.

“Culprits” balances dark and graphic content with precision, ensuring that each impactful moment resonates with viewers. The sparing use of these intense scenes heightens their impact, contributing to the overall immersive experience.

The series is now streaming on Disney+. Peep the trailer below:
