A highlight of the Cape Town summer social calendar, these concerts offer a perfect blend of live music, chilled vibes, and picnics in the picturesque setting of Kirstenbosch.
The season kicks off with a bang as Mi Casa takes the stage on 3 December , setting the tone for 17 weeks of musical bliss that will continue until 31 March 2024. The lineup is a who’s who of South African music, featuring artists like Ami Faku, Jeremy Loops, Goldfish, Mandisi Dyantyis, The Soil, Swing City, Mango Groove, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Jack Parow, Lalah Hathaway, and many more.
From the soulful tunes of Sun-El Musician and Simmy to the symphonic sounds of The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, the concerts promise a diverse range of musical experiences. Notably, international acts like Deacon Blue and Xavier Rudd will grace the Kirstenbosch stage, adding a global flavor to the festivities.
The concerts are not just about music; they are a celebration of summer, community, and the unique spirit of Kirstenbosch. With gates opening early on concert days, attendees can revel in the beauty of the garden before enjoying world-class performances under the African sky.
