While a lot of Gen Z enjoys checking out new spots, a study found that up to 86% of Gen Z experiences anxiety when dining out at restaurants, a phenomenon known as “menu anxiety,” in contrast to 67% of all respondents, per the new survey by British restaurant chain Prezzo.
This recent survey by Prezzo involved over 2,000 individuals in the United Kingdom sharing their perspectives on dining.
Gen Z diners often grapple with “menu anxiety,” triggered by meal prices and the worry of not finding something they like.
Almost 40% of Gen Z and millennials mentioned that they wouldn’t go to a restaurant unless they had checked the menu beforehand.
