Radisson Hotel Group has unveiled the Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit, making its debut as the first Safari hotel in Africa and the 11th lavish establishment in South Africa.
Located between the esteemed Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon, this exquisite hotel sits 2km outside Hoedspruit, right in the heart of Limpopo province’s lush grasslands.
The hotel flaunts splendid views of the majestic Drakensberg mountains, offering guests the chance to tick off those safari adventures and spot local wildlife such as lions, rhinos, and elephants while trekking on horseback or soaking in the vast landscape from a hot air balloon.
The hotel boasts 138 rooms and suites, catering to every preference, ranging from standard rooms with delightful garden and mountain views to lavish Premium Suites equipped with private pools and serene outdoor seating areas, providing the perfect vantage point to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.
The hotel is accompanied by three restaurants: Mirage, offering South African and Lebanese-inspired cuisine on a wrap-around deck, and Pegasus, offering Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, and American-inspired dishes, gourmet ice cream, and frozen cocktails, served by an adults-only swimming pool. The third restaurant, Boma, allows guests to indulge in popular African delicacies like Boerewors, Bobotie, and a selection of game meat.
The hotel offers a spa with a health bar, a 24-hour fitness center, and versatile meeting spaces, including boardrooms and a banquet hall for up to 200 guests.
