FlySafair will now have a new route with direct flights from Cape Town to the Kruger National Park (KNP).
The twice-weekly flights will start from 2 April 2024.
The airline will use a Boeing 737-800, departing from Cape Town International Airport at 9am every Tuesday and Saturday. Tickets will start at R1,851 one way. The flight is expected to land at KNP around 11:30 am, with a return flight taking off from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport at 12:05 pm and landing back in Cape Town at 2:50 pm.
FlySafair sees this new route as a strategic move to boost tourism across the country, providing easier access to the beauty and diversity of South Africa for both domestic and international travelers.
Limited commercial flight options from Cape Town to KNP prompted the introduction of this route, aiming to cater to the increasing popularity of Cape Town as a tourist destination, especially among international visitors.
