Mzansi Magic‘s new telenovela, “Champions,” arrives this week, and features an A-list cast, including Sello Maake ka-Ncube, Tumisho Masha, and Jo-Anne Reyneke.
The plot revolves around Sne Modise (played by Jo-Anne Reyneke), a symbol of resilience and ambition, navigating a football landscape filled with love, betrayal, and unexpected challenges following sudden changes in her father Washington’s life. As an underdog in the intense drama, Sne is determined to challenge gender norms and lead the Soshanguve Giants FC to success.
Helmed by Tshedza Pictures, the production house behind hit TV shows like “The River,” “Outlaws,” “Adulting,” and “Gqeberha: The Empire,” viewers can expect a telenovela filled with passion, power, perseverance, and ultimate triumph.
The series premieres on Mzansi Magic channel 161 on 5 February at 19:00 and airing Mondays to Fridays.
