Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, and his Trophy Room store have recently unveiled the latest collaboration with Jordan Brand: the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP ‘Rookie Card Away.
This latest offering from Trophy Room and Jordan Brand draws inspiration from his dad’s 1986 Fleer Basketball rookie card and a 1984 Sports Illustrated photo. The collection consists of two colorways: ‘Home’ and ‘Away.’
The “Rookie Card Away” edition features a white leather base with red overlays at the forefoot and black on the heel, resembling the “Reverse Black Toe” style. It also includes polyester red overlays inspired by Jordan’s uniforms, his stitched autograph on the heel, and a gold-tone metal Air Jordan “Wings” logo on the tongue for a vintage look.
Look out for the “Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP “Rookie Card Away” to release on Thursday, 21 March 2024 online via Nike SNKRS ZA (1:00pm). The retail price is set at R 2 999,95.
