BAPE has linked up with Alpha Industries for a new collection featuring the famous BAPE ABC Camo designs on several pieces.
The standout pieces of the BAPE® x Alpha Industries collaboration are the Reversible Kimono Jacket and Classic MA-1 Jacket. These items are crafted to pay tribute to Sashiko, a form of decorative reinforcement stitching (or functional embroidery) from Japan, reimagining both style and aesthetic.
Designed with inspirations from Ukiyo-e, a genre of Japanese art that flourished from the 17th through 19th centuries, the back prints on both Kimono Jacket and MA-1 Jacket are beautifully embroidered with graphics of BAPE’s iconic motifs, ensuring the archival touch.
The collection includes tees, pants, sweaters, hoodies, and the notorious Alpha Industries Ma-1 jackets.
All the pieces feature the BAPE logo and Alpha Industries Inc.
The Alpha Industries x BAPE collection is now available at alphaindustries.co.za and the Alpha Industries store in Sandton City.
