The legendary broadcaster Sbusiso Leope, famed DJ Sbu, is back on the airwaves, reemerging from a nearly decade-long hiatus to take over Radio 2000‘s breakfast show.
DJ Sbu will host the new breakfast show, dubbed the #NoNameBreakfastShow, starting from Monday, 01 April, airing weekdays from 6am to 9am.
He takes over from DJ Glen Lewis, who has anchored Radio 2000’s breakfast show since 2023.
Sbu will be joined by Nathi Ndamase as co-presenter and Lelo Mzaca as the sports anchor.
As the show debuts under #NoNameBreakfastShow, listeners will have the opportunity to suggest a name for the program, with fantastic prizes up for grabs.
In addition to the new line-up, DJ Cleo will be joining the station to host a brand-new dance show ‘The Eskhaleni Party’ Fridays, 22h00 – 00h00.
Otherwise, the rest of the weekday daytime lineup remains unchanged with Ntombi Phiri on Better Together, 09h00 – 12h00, David Mashabela returns with another season of The Royal Playground, 12h00 – 15h00 while Paul Mnisi drives you home together with his team Isaac Gampu and Lonwabo Nkohla on sports duty on The Drive Connection, 15h00 – 18h00.
