The biggest films of 2023, “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” will be available for streaming on Showmax this May, almost 10 months after their cinema debut.

‘Oppenheimer’ will start streaming from 6th May, while ‘Barbie’ will arrive later on the streaming platform from 22nd May 2024.

The third biggest box office hit of 2023 globally, ‘Oppenheimer,’ depicts physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer’s life, from developing the atomic bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico, to its catastrophic consequences in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, during World War II.

The highest-grossing live-action comedy film of all time, ‘Barbie’ follows stereotypical Barbie (Margot Robbie), whose perfect life in Barbieland crumbles as the humans playing with her are unhappy. With help from Weird Barbie (Kate McKinnon), they venture into the real world to find her human family and solve their problems, facing challenges along the way.

So if you haven’t had the chance to hit the cinemas to watch these films, you can sure look out for their Showmax debut this month.
