Liverpool Football Club has officially revealed its home kit for the upcoming 2024/25 season in collaboration with Nike. The new kit pays homage to the club’s rich history while incorporating modern design elements to create a fresh and exciting look for the players and fans alike.
The new Liverpool home shirt for the 2024/25 season features a retro design inspired by the iconic kit worn by the club’s legendary team in 1984. This edition, dubbed a ‘remix’ of the famous shirt from 30 years ago, celebrates Liverpool’s treble-winning season and European Cup triumph in Rome.
A standout feature of the new kit is the Chrome Yellow pattern design, which offers a modernized take on the legendary ’84 Home Shirt. This pattern pays homage to the club’s historic achievements and serves as a bold statement on the pitch.
The jersey features a unique collar with traditional yellow and red detailing, reminiscent of the iconic collar worn by the team in 1984. Additionally, both the shirt and shorts boast yellow and white side paneling, adding to the retro-inspired aesthetic.
Constructed with Nike’s Dri-Fit ADV technology, the kit ensures optimal performance on the field. The moisture-wicking material allows for faster evaporation, keeping players dry and comfortable throughout the game.
In addition to the home shirt, the new kit collection includes the Anthem Jacket and goalkeeper kit, providing a cohesive look for the entire team.
The creative campaign video and photography draw inspiration from the host city of the 1984 final in Rome. By fusing fashion and football, the campaign showcases the new jersey alongside premium Italian-inspired fashion pieces, highlighting Liverpool’s cultural significance.
The 2024/25 home kit is available for pre-order now and will officially launch on 16 May.
