Apple revealed the all-new iPad Pro with M4 chip along with the Apple Pencil Pro during their ‘Let Loose’ special event on Tuesday.
Available in sleek silver and space black finishes, the latest iPad Pro comes in two sizes: a spacious 13-inch model and a highly portable 11-inch model, and is dubbed the thinnest.
Both variants feature the world’s most advanced display – the groundbreaking Ultra Retina XDR display, incorporating state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology to deliver an unparalleled visual experience.
Under the hood, the iPad Pro packs the M4 chip, the next generation of Apple silicon. This chip delivers a significant performance boost, with a new CPU, next-generation GPU, and the most powerful Neural Engine yet. This means the iPad Pro is not only incredibly fast but also primed for artificial intelligence applications.
The updated camera system on the new iPad Pro delivers even more versatility, and with its rich audio from four studio-quality mics, users can shoot, edit, and share all on one device. The 12MP back camera captures vibrant Smart HDR images and video with even better color, improved textures, and detail in low light. It also now features a new adaptive True Tone flash that makes document scanning on the new iPad Pro better than ever. Using AI, the new iPad Pro automatically identifies documents right in the Camera app, and if a shadow is in the way, it instantly takes multiple photos with the new adaptive flash, stitching the scan together for a dramatically better scan.
Enhancing the versatility of the iPad Pro are a range of new accessories. The Apple Pencil Pro introduces powerful new interactions, elevating the pencil experience to new heights. Additionally, a thinner and lighter Magic Keyboard, packed with incredible features, complements the new iPad Pro perfectly.
If you’re itching to get your hands on one, you won’t have to wait long. Pre-orders are open now, with availability in stores starting on 15 May.
The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space black finishes in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations.
