adidas Originals and British-Jamaican menswear designer Grace Wales Bonner return to present their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Inspired by the enduring legacy of East African runners, the British designer, and the brand with the Three Stripes travel to the Home of Champions in Iten, Kenya.
The latest adidas Originals by Wales Bonner collection recontextualizes archival running looks for the present day through elevated materials, carefully considered prints, and expressive patterns. The refined apparel selection includes bright tracksuits, running singlets reimagined for a lifestyle context, color-blocked Three Stripes T-shirts, patterned shorts, and timeless khaki outerwear pieces.
Arriving alongside the apparel collection is a host of curated accessories, including a reversible bucket hat, a suite of bags, and graphic-printed socks in bold colorways.
The footwear offering, meanwhile, sees Wales Bonner bring a signature take to the SL 76. Renowned as an archival classic, the vintage mesh and suede runner is reworked in two colorways: yellow with black stripes and light blue with black stripes. The collection is then rounded out by two different Samba silhouettes: the classic Samba in two colorways and, for the first time in the range, the Samba Millennium is presented in two distinct makeups – one with a leather heel and one with a blue pony hair heel.
