“Bridgerton” Season 3 is here, and Netflix has decided to keep fans on the edge of their seats by splitting the season into two parts. The first four episodes are available for streaming now, with the final four episodes set to be released on June 13.
Following the dramatic events of Season 2’s Featherington Ball, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) is left heartbroken after overhearing Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) dismiss the idea of courting her. Her fallout with best friend Eloise (Claudia Jessie) adds to her distress.
Lacking confidence, Penelope’s attempts to find a suitor fail spectacularly. Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer travels with a new look and swagger but is disheartened to find Penelope giving him the cold shoulder. Eager to mend their friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in confidence to help her find a husband. However, as his lessons begin to work too well, Colin must confront his true feelings for her.
At the heart of this season is the evolving relationship between Penelope and Colin, affectionately dubbed #Polin by fans. As the trailer suggests, their friendship might blossom into something more.
Penelope’s growing presence in society complicates her ability to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret. Meanwhile, Eloise finds a new friend in an unlikely place, further straining their relationship.
Beloved cast members return, including Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton), Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma), Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), and more. Hannah Dodd takes over the role of Francesca Bridgerton, who embarks on her own quest for love. New additions to the cast include Daniel Francis as Marcus Anderson, James Phoon as Harry Dankworth, and Sam Phillips from “The Crown” as Lord Debling.
Bridgerton Season 3 gives the same blend of romance, drama, and scandal that fans love, with Penelope and Colin stepping into the spotlight. Based on Julia Quinn’s fourth book, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton,” viewers can expect a season filled with intrigue and heartwarming moments.
