Struggling against forces beyond her control, she becomes embroiled in a situation she never foresaw, finding herself at the center of suspicion in a seemingly indifferent world.
The cast of “Straw” features renowned actors and actresses, including Taraji P. Henson, Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Glynn Turman, Sinbad, Rockmond Dunbar, Mike Merrill, and Ashley Versher.
Perry’s collaboration with Netflix continues to flourish, with “Straw” marking the latest addition to their creative partnership.
Under their multi-year deal, Perry will write, direct, and produce various projects for the streaming platform, including “The Six Triple Eight” and the recently announced “Beauty in Black” drama series.
