The fight between Internet star Jake Paul and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has been rescheduled to a new date (Friday, 15 November 2024) and will be livestreamed on Netflix.
The fight will take place at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Texas, United States.
This anticipated fight was originally set to take place on 20th July 2024, but was postponed after Tyson experienced an ulcer flareup during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on 26th May.
“Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties,” said Mike Tyson.
This will mark Jake Paul’s most-anticipated fight to date and his second fight of 2024, following back-to-back sensational knockouts against professional boxers and Golden Glove winners Ryan Bourland on 2 March 2024 and André August in December 2023.
Previously purchased tickets will be honored for Friday, November 15, and current ticketholders will not need to take further action to retain tickets and seat locations. Tickets are still available here.
“It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard. Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons,” said Jake Paul.
“I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas,” said Mike Tyson.
