As a follow-up to the 2022 AJ2 collab, New York-based contemporary artist and painter Nina Chanel Abney links up with Jordan Brand to put her spin on the Air Jordan 3 model.
Nothing like your ordinary shoe, this Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 features a textural mix of waxed canvas and shaggy suede, with the textured overlays adding depth and balance to the upper. Other notable details include hits of orange, a Fossil-colored midsole, a leather-lined collar and tongue, checkered insoles, rope laces, and custom heel branding. Abney completes the design with reimagined Nike Air branding at the back.
Look out for Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 to release on Thursday, 20 June 2024 online via Nike SNKRS ZA (12:00 midday). The retail price is set at R4,299.95.
