After much delays with the production, Marvel has finally dropped the teaser and release info for the fourth Captain America movie, “Captain America: Brave New World.”
The glimpse into the trailer reveals Anthony Mackie returning as Sam Wilson, who’s officially taken up the mantle of Captain America.
In this thrilling installment, U.S. President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross recruits Sam for an official military role as Captain America. However, their new alliance faces a severe threat with an assassination attempt on Ross, drawing Sam into a complex government conspiracy. Sam must uncover the reasons behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind turns the world upside down.
Set to hit cinemas on 14 February 2025, the film marks Harrison Ford’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), stepping into the role of President Ross, previously played by the late William Hurt. Fans of “The Winter Soldier” will be delighted by the espionage and political intrigue hinted at in the teaser.
The teaser also brings back familiar faces: Danny Ramirez returns as Joaquin Torres, now the new Falcon, and Tim Blake Nelson reprises his role as Samuel Sterns, AKA The Leader, last seen in 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk.” Joining the cast is Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph, a former Black Widow turned high-ranking U.S. government official.
The ensemble is further enriched by Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Xosha Roquemore, with Esposito’s villainous role adding an extra layer of excitement.
