Marvel’s much-waited much-awaited “Deadpool & Wolverine” will finally hit cinemas this week.
This Marvel gem is directed by Shawn Levy, and features a star-studded cast including Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Set six years after the events of “Deadpool 2” (2018), the film sees Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, who has settled into a quiet life, leaving his mercenary days behind. However, his peace is shattered when the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline—pulls him into a new mission.
Facing an existential threat to his home universe, Wilson reluctantly joins forces with an even more reluctant Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, in a mission that promises to alter the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
With this duo together on a mission, we can expect nothing but some kick-ass action and unexpected twists as they navigate through a storyline that bridges past and future MCU events.
