Here’s what to expect at upcoming Spotify’s Skate Noise Joburg

Spotify has announced the much-anticipated arrival of Skate Noise, a fusion of music and skateboarding event, taking place on Saturday, 27 July 2024 at 1 Fox, Johannesburg.



Skate Noise, Spotify’s innovative event series, combines the raw energy of skateboarding with pulsating live beats, creating a unique cultural experience that unites skaters and music lovers in a celebration of creativity, freedom, and the vibrant spirit of South African youth.

Here’s what to expect at the event:

  • Skateboarding platform
  • Food trucks
  • Merchandise stalls
  • Interactive installations
  • Skate contests with high-risk / high-reward games like ‘cash for tricks’
  • Skate Jams
  • Live music
  • DJs and performances: Deniecé Marz, Insertcoinz, The Qwellers, Muzi, Uncle Partytime, K.keed, Lil Plvg, Tha Cutt, Twenty One Children, and Shameless.

Date: Saturday, 27 July 2024
Venue: 1 Fox, Johannesburg
Time: 12:00 midday until 10:00pm
Event type: Family friendly

We’re bringing a unique experience to South Africa, designed to spark creativity and forge deeper connections among attendees.”
