BIRKENSTOCK SPRING/ SUMMER 2024

BIRKENSTOCK kicked off their Spring/Summer 2024 collection with a vibrant preview event at Bean There in Johannesburg. The night was a celebration of soothing fashion, great food, lively music, and a sneak peek of the new collection.

The new collection features a mix of vibrant colors, innovative fabrics, and fresh silhouettes, all while staying true to BIRKENSTOCK's core—the original footbed. This collection reimagines iconic styles with new materials and a bright palette, paying homage to summer's vivid hues.

Highlights of the Spring/Summer 2024 Collection:

Materials: The collection introduces new textures like Shiny Lizard, a synthetic material with a playful sheen, and handmade braided suede details that add a feminine touch. For men, the new Saffiano leather comes in refined roast and stone coin colors.

New Summer Shades: Classic EVA material now comes in fresh colors like Fondant Pink, Elemental Blue, Surf Green, and Roast. Iconic silhouettes like Arizona, Madrid, and Gizeh are available in new shades such as Green Tea, Candy Pink, and Berry Crush.

Silhouettes:

  • St. Barths: A premium sandal perfect for trans-seasonal wear, available in Black and Berry Crush, featuring adjustable straps and an elegant buckle.
  • Catalina: Everyday footwear with a wide adjustable strap, available in Birkibuc Mocha and the new Shiny Lizard capsule in White and Surf Green.
  • Boston Nova: A modern twist on the classic Boston, featuring a G-hook buckle and a slip-resistant rubber-EVA sole.
  • Reykjavik: A street style shoe with an exaggerated PU sole and brushed nubuck leather.
  • Shinjuku: Sporty and urban, with high-quality nubuck leather and fabric, and striking color-coordinated details.

Papillio by BIRKENSTOCK: Introducing new platform styles like Almina, Glenda, and Theda, these bring a new era of occasion footwear with luxurious materials and contemporary designs.
