Former US President Barack Obama has revealed his summer 2024 playlist, featuring songs from Tyla, Tems, and Rema.
Continuing his annual tradition of sharing his fav music, movies, and books—Obama’s summer 2024 music playlist is in full swing, with African artists Tems, Rema, and Tyla.
“I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix,” Obama tweeted with an image of the songs. “I hope you find something new to listen to!”
His playlist features a blend of classics and fresh jams, spanning genres from neo-soul to hip-hop and classic rock.
Included in the mix are Charli XCX’s high-energy track “365”, Tommy Richman’s breakout single “Million Dollar Baby,” 2Pac’s “How Do U Want It,” and Nick Drake’s “One of These Things First.”
The playlist also features songs by Billie Eilish, Shaboozey, Tems, Bonny Light Horseman, Beyoncé, Pharoah Sanders, Bad Bunny, Samara Joy, Charles Mingus, and more.
