Just in time for travelling season, FlySafair is expanding with a new route connecting Cape Town to Windhoek, Namibia, starting in October this year. This is the airline’s first regional service from Cape Town, offering a convenient and affordable travel option between the two cities.
The flights will begin from 22 October 2024, and will run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with ticket prices starting at R1,800.
Kirby Gordon, FlySafair’s Chief Marketing Officer, shared the airline’s excitement, stating, “We’ve been eager to enter the Windhoek market, and now that we have the aircraft availability, we’re thrilled to make it happen,” as per BusinessTech.
This new route strengthens FlySafair’s presence in the regional aviation market, giving South African travelers more options to explore neighboring countries.
