The Board of Directors of NIKE, Inc. announced on Thursday, 19 September 2024 that Elliott Hill will become President and Chief Executive Officer of NIKE, Inc., effective October 14, 2024.
He takes over from John Donahoe who took the top job in 2020. Donahoe will formally step down on 13th October but will remain on as an advisor to the sportswear giant to ensure a ‘smooth transition’ through 31st January 2025.
As Elliot Hill fills new shoes, he will also become a Director of the NIKE, Inc. Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Committee.

“Personally, I have worked with Elliott for more than 30 years and I look forward to supporting him and his senior management team as they seize the opportunities ahead.”
