Nike and Japanese designer NIGO are teaming up for the first time on an exclusive Air Force III silhouette and apparel collection.
The debut Nike x NIGO collection marks the start of a long-awaited partnership, with the Air Force III’s rugged silhouette hinting at future footwear and apparel inspired by pop culture.
Each upcoming release will celebrate the intersection of fashion, culture, art, and music through the lens of sneakers and style, beginning with a debut colorway inspired by Nigo’s favorite television genres from earlier in his life.
The Nike x NIGO Air Force III combines premium embossed leathers and textiles with the original AF3 midsole and rubber outsole, featuring tongue and heel graphics that honor the classic sneaker and Nigo’s cultural influences.
The custom box reveals the inspiration behind the debut colorway and includes a premium patch, pin, and hints of future releases.
The accompanying apparel collection includes a varsity jacket and hoodie alongside classic T-shirts.
Look out for the Nike x NIGO Air Force III and apparel collection to release on SNKRS come Friday, 04 October 2024.
Otherwise, the early drop will take place September 28 exclusively at Otsumo Plaza in Tokyo, humanmade.jp, and the “I Know Nigo 2” pop-up in New York.
