George Clooney and Brad Pitt are back in action in ‘Wolfs‘, an action comedy with a side of thrill, written and directed by Jon Watts.
The movie puts Clooney and Pitt working as pro spies. The story unfolds when a high-powered district attorney, Margaret (played by Amy Ryan), who finds herself in a scandalous mess when a one-night stand turns deadly, leaving her with a lifeless body on her hotel room floor.
With her career on the line, she’s forced to call in a stoic “fixer” (Clooney) to handle the situation. Things seem under control, until Pam, the straight-shooting hotel manager (Frances McDormand), realizes what’s happening on the security feed and calls in her own fixer—a rival professional played by Pitt. The two lone wolves, both pros in their field, now have to team up, awkwardly navigating their egos and differing styles to clean up the mess and protect Margaret’s secret.
As the night spirals further out of control, Clooney and Pitt’s characters find themselves in over their heads. A web of twists and cover-ups leads the two rival fixers to confront their own buried grudges and compete in a game of one-upmanship that teeters between comedy and suspense.
With a supporting cast that includes Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Burić, Wolfs balances action with clever banter, adding a unique spin to the classic buddy-comedy format. Clooney and Pitt’s unmatched chemistry, last seen in the Ocean’s Eleven series, returns to the screen with a mix of humor and unpredictability.
Wolfs offers a refreshing take on the action-comedy genre, perfect for fans of witty banter, suspenseful twists, and the thrill of seeing Clooney and Pitt go head-to-head.
