The buzzworthy “Young, Famous, and African” is back with Season 3 on Netflix, bringing eight drama-packed episodes that delve into fractured marriages, fragile friendships, and surprising new connections.
This season introduces fresh faces like South African social media star Kefilwe “Kefiboo” Mabote, Nollywood heavyweight Ini Edo, and entrepreneur Shakib Lutaaya. They join returning fan favorites Zari “The Boss Lady” Hassan, Swanky Jerry, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ, Kayleigh Schwark, Fantana, Luis Munana, and Nadia Nakai.
What’s new this season? Zari and Shakib steal the spotlight by tying the knot, adding a fresh dynamic to the group. Annie returns, aiming to mend the relationships she damaged last season, particularly with Zari and Swanky. Speaking of Swanky, he remains the show’s fashion king, bringing jaw-dropping outfits while steering clear of the drama.
Diamond and Fantana continue their rollercoaster “situationship,” with Fantana teasing a possible pregnancy, keeping everyone guessing. Naked DJ and Kayleigh struggle with their differing views on commitment, with Kayleigh wanting a marriage while Naked believes a five-year relationship doesn’t require a ring.
The addition of Ini Edo shakes things up. Her commanding presence and strong personality bring new perspectives to the group. Despite clashing with Luis, the two find a way to forgive and move forward. Luis, however, is still grappling with his desire for a family and meaningful connections.
The season’s biggest drama comes from Kefilwe and Zari’s fiery clashes. Their chaotic interactions create some of the season’s most talked-about moments.
With its mix of chaos, forgiveness, and relationship drama, Young, Famous, and African Season 3 is definitely the drama we signed up for.
