The Cape Town Jazz Festival is turning up the heat with the addition of Masego to its 2025 lineup.
Set to take place on 25-26 April at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), this year’s edition is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet.
Masego, known for his signature blend of jazz, R&B, and Afro-infused sounds, will be making his return to the festival stage. He joins British acid jazz pioneers Incognito and Cape Town’s rising trumpet star Muneeb Hermans as the latest additions to the lineup.
Headlining this year’s festival is American contemporary R&B sensation Ari Lennox, alongside an exclusive duo performance from Black Coffee and celebrated pianist Nduduzo Makhathini. This marks the first time the two will take the stage together for a full-length performance, promising a truly unique and immersive musical experience.
The festival will also feature performances from Thandiswa Mazwai, saxophonist Linda Sikhakhane, the Kyle Shepherd Trio, and bassist Benjamin Jephta featuring Kujenga.
