Sony has announced release dates for two of its biggest upcoming Spider-Man films: Spider-Man: Brand New Day, followed by Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
First up is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, swinging into theaters on 31 July 2026, with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse landing nearly two years later on 04 June 2027.
This was unveiled at Sony Pictures’ CinemaCon presentation on Monday [01 April], the news was accompanied by a first look at photos from the eagerly awaited film (view the gallery below):
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, with a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. The film is produced by Lord, Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Jinko Gotoh, while Aditya Sood and Christina Steinberg serve as executive producers.
CinemaCon attendees were shown footage that opened with Miles saying, “You can’t ask me… not to save my father,” as trippy skies and scenes from the previous film filled the screen.
This was followed by scenes from his upcoming mission across the multiverse, where he declares, “Everyone keeps telling me how my story is supposed to go. I’m gonna do my own thing.”
Sony also revealed the official title of the next live-action film: Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The title was introduced with a fresh logo design featuring a slightly updated font, while the ‘Brand New Day’ subtitle uses the same style seen in Homecoming—a subtle nod to Jon Watts’ trilogy and a hint at a new chapter for Spidey.
