The Air Max 95 is having a moment this year, and the latest collab with South Korean retailer WORKSOUT proves just that.
Founded in 2003 by five friends, WORKSOUT is known for curating sought-after streetwear, and this project blends nostalgic influence with modern tech for today’s generation.
The shoe is inspired by the founders’ old school uniforms; the design brings a clean, minimal twist to the classic silhouette.
The shoe features the original Air Max 95 ‘Big Bubble’ cushioning for extra comfort, with a glossy upper finish that adds a modern touch. It comes with an updated lacing system and one-piece construction, detailed with reflective panels that highlight its classic shape. The Medium Olive and Sequoia color mix is grounded by a bold black midsole. A textured Swoosh pays tribute to the WORKSOUT storefront, while the moulded heel reflects the store’s interior. It’s a full-circle moment—from selling Air Max sneakers to co-designing one with Nike.
Look out for the Air Max 95 x WORKSOUT ‘Sequoia’ to release on Thursday, 05 June 2025, via Nike SNKRS ZA (12:00 midday). The retail price is set at R3,699.95.
