Instagram turns 15 this year and is celebrating by spotlighting creativity through a global campaign called “ANYWAY,” launched with a short film aimed at inspiring users to take creative risks on the platform.
The platform has tapped some of the most influential voices in fashion, art, and music—including multi-talent star Tyler, the Creator; designer Clint Ogbenna (Clint 419); visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen; artist and designer Olaolu Akeredolu-Ale (Slawn); singer Rosalía; record producer Fred Again; and director Cole Bennett.
In the debut short film, Tyler, the Creator delivers a heartfelt pep talk to Bronx-born Trinity, who opens up about her struggle with self-doubt and the fear of sharing her creative work.
In a blog post, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri reflected on the inspiration behind the new campaign and the impact of working with bold creative voices:
“These powerful voices embody our mission and remind us that everyone starts somewhere. We’re inspired by their stories and humbled by the small role Instagram has played in them. We’ll be doing much more with these creatives in the year ahead as we move our mission forward.”
The campaign is currently rolling out globally across Reels, Stories, and Instagram’s channels over the coming weeks.
