Hey Neighbour Festival 2025, originally scheduled for August, has been postponed to December 2025 (dates to be confirmed) and will still take place at Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria.

Hey Neighbour boss Glen Netshipise has stepped forward to address the waves caused by the festivalโ€™s postponement. In a candid message to fans, he acknowledged the frustration caused by the eventโ€™s postponement, saying, โ€œAs CEO of Hey Neighbour Festival, I want to acknowledge the disappointment caused by the postponement of the 2025 event. We understand the impact this has on our loyal festival-goers, sponsors, and artists.โ€

Netshipise also admitted that the teamโ€™s communication hasnโ€™t hit the right note lately, sharing, โ€œWe also recognise that our communication around the challenges weโ€™ve faced hasnโ€™t been as clear as it should have been, and for that, we sincerely apologise.โ€

Still, itโ€™s not all gloom. With optimism in the air, he promised a better path ahead: โ€œMoving forward, we are committed to improving our transparency and communication, ensuring that everyone is kept informed as we work towards delivering an even better festival in December 2025.โ€

And with a heartfelt nod to those sticking by their side, Netshipise added, โ€œWe are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, artists, and attendees. Their faith in us is helping to ensure that we can deliver the best possible festival experience.โ€

In a statement, the Hey Neighbour organizers shared that theyโ€™re rolling up their sleeves behind the scenes โ€” locking in fresh funding, lining up big-name partnerships, and scouting even more star-studded headliners to ensure the festival returns with a bang.

While the new dates are still under wraps, fans can expect an official update (including refund info for those whoโ€™ve already asked or canโ€™t make the new dates) no later than 30 September 2025.

So what does this mean?

Whatโ€™s next for those who bought tickets and the sponsors of the festival?

Tickets: All tickets purchased for the event will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced on 30 September 2025, along with the full lineup.

Refunds: All refunds due will be processed and paid by 10 October 2025.

Sponsors: Sponsors who have already made contributions will be contacted directly with further details.

Artists: We are in active discussions with the initially booked talent to confirm their availability for the new December dates.
