Netflix has another hit comedy series with Mr Bean star (real name Rowan Atkinson) on the way, titled ‘Man vs Baby’ — a follow-up to the 2022 hit, Man vs Bee.

Man vs Baby will premiere on Netflix come Thursday, 11 December 2025.

In the series, Rowan Atkinson returns as Trevor Bingley, who once again finds himself in an unexpected battle—this time with a baby.

After no one comes to claim the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor is left with an unexpected guest. With a luxury penthouse to protect and a newborn to manage, Trevor’s hopes for a quiet Christmas may be dashed by festive chaos. Cue a predictably spiralling set of disasters — toppled furniture, unexpected messes, nosy neighbours, and yes, probably another flaming disaster in the kitchen.

Netflix reveals…

“After a job looking after a high-tech mansion ended in disaster thanks to an irritating insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor Bingley (Rowan Atkinson) has left the stressful world of housesitting for the quieter life of a school caretaker.

That is, until a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist. But on the last day of term, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion.

With a penthouse to protect and a baby to burp, will Trevor be able to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos?”

The new series will have four episodes, each about 30 minutes long—longer than the shorter 10–20 minute episodes from season one.

The show is co-created by Rowan Atkinson and Will Davies (Johnny English), directed by David Kerr, and produced by HouseSitter Productions. New faces joining the cast include Alana Bloor and Oriel Bathurst, with more to be announced closer to release.
