Giant appliance and electronics manufacturer Hisense has opened its first South African store at Canal Walk Shopping Centre in Cape Town.
The store opened on 12 November and welcomes shoppers with in-store promotions, product demos, and Black Friday specials.
Luna Nortje, Deputy GM at Hisense SA, says the store is more than a retail upgrade: “This store allows customers to experience locally made quality up close while supporting a value chain that creates jobs and transfers skills right here at home.”
Customers can explore the brand’s most advanced tech, from premium 4K TVs and laser projection systems to fridges with AI and smart home tools.
The store ties into Hisense’s 29-year journey in South Africa and celebrates their factory in Atlantis.
